RUŽICA RUDIĆ VRANIĆ

Ružica Rudić Vranić is the Secretary General and one of the founders of the Association.

She started her engagement in Civic activities in Women's Studies in Subotica in 1998, as one of the founders and a member of the Council. Being an entrepreneur in her private life, very soon she recognized that she was especially interested in issues concerning women's economic rights and independence.

She is also convinced that one of the most important points in implementing women's rights is promotion of their skills and talents, strengthening their self-confidence and making women's capabilities in all activity levels and areas visible.

In April 2000 together with ten other women she founded FEMINA CREATIVA.

She coordinates the activities of Femina Creativa in general, but she is also the author and coordinator of several projects:

Production of a video film and of a web site.

Special fields of interest: Visibility of Women's Creativity and Home-based Work.

She is taking part in activities and initiatives of other Civic and NG Organizations in Yugoslavia and has a good cooperation with a lot of them, personally and within networks.

She is married and has two grown-up children: Svetlana and Goran.

Together with her husband she is the owner of a small family business, producing furniture and wooden toys for export.

As an interior designer she has designed equipment for almost 30.000 m² of different kinds of inner space.
